Release notes: Customer portal for pet parents

We would like to inform you about the new features in the release that occurred on January 6, 2024.

For Customers

Customers can now submit booking requests for boarding and daycare services directly to your business with just a few clicks, and also manage most of their personal and pet information. This eliminates the need for back-and-forth emails and phone calls for simple service requests.

For Dog Daycare and Boarding Service Owners

Easily review, approve, or deny booking requests submitted through the customer portal.

Registration and login widget

A registration and login widget is now available to place on your website, allowing your customers to easily log in or start a dog daycare application. This feature streamlines service requests, reducing the need for emails and phone calls.

Booking System

The booking system has been improved with a more user-friendly interface. This enhancement includes a new layout, filters, and status filters when creating new bookings and browsing for existing bookings.

Other Improvements

General improvements in the interface for the customer, pet and booking management sections.

Note about Recurring Bookings

The recurring booking functionality is temporarily unavailable. This is due to the fact we are working to improve the user experience, and it will be available in the upcoming releases.

What's Next in the Roadmap

  • Improve documentation and tutorials. This will include videos and links on each page on how to better use Kennel Max to help you manage your dog daycare and boarding business.
  • Include more reporting data.
  • Area to upload vaccination records (dog daycare and boarding staff and Customer portal) and other relevant documents to eliminate the need for customers or business to send them by email.
  • Improve the invoice section interface.
  • Activity log to have a full overview of actions performed by admins, staff, and clients in the system.
  • Digital Waivers & Terms and Conditions.
  • Add functionality to block specific dates during the booking process, for example, holidays, open and closed business days.
  • Public business page, so you can market your business without the need of building a website and boost visibility in the main search engines like Google and Bing.
